Privacy Policy for Trip Tracker 2 in 1: Calendar + Mileage Log

Last Updated: August 11, 2026

1. Introduction

Sufficient Word Ministries, Inc. DBA Trip Tracker 2-in-1 (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the 2-in-1 Trip Tracker mobile application (the “App”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We do not operate servers that store your data. Your trips, mileage, expenses, and notes are stored on your device. Data leaves your device only in the specific situations described in Section 3, and in each case it goes to a service you have chosen to connect (such as your own Google Drive) or to Google’s mapping service in order to calculate a distance.

We do not use advertising networks, and the App contains no analytics or tracking software. We do not build profiles of you or track you across apps or websites.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The following is created by you and stored locally in the App’s private database:

  • Trip and event data — event titles, dates, times, start locations, destinations, calculated mileage, and any notes you add.

  • Expense data — amounts, categories, dates, and notes.

  • Categories and app settings — including your subscription or free-trial status.

  • Diagnostic logs — technical error records used to troubleshoot problems. These stay on your device unless you choose to export them using the “Export Error Logs” option.

3. Information That Leaves Your Device

Location Data

If you grant location permission and tap the “use current location” button, the App reads your device’s current coordinates and places them in the trip’s location field.

  • Location is accessed only in the foreground, only when you tap that button. The App does not track your location in the background, and does not track your movement or drive automatically.

  • The coordinates are saved in that trip record on your device.

  • When you calculate a distance or view a route, the start and destination values — which may be a typed address or those coordinates — are sent to Google Maps Platform (Distance Matrix and Directions APIs) to return a mileage figure and route. Results are cached on your device to reduce repeat requests.

  • You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; the rest of the App continues to work and you can type addresses manually.

Calendar Data

With your explicit permission, the App reads events from your device calendar, and — if you connect a Google account — from Google Calendar, so you can turn appointments into trips. The App imports event titles, dates, times, and locations.

  • Imported events are stored on your device like any other trip.

  • If you enable Google Drive backup (see below), imported calendar events are included in that backup, because they have become part of your trip data.

  • The App only ever reads your calendar. It never creates, edits, or deletes events there. Your device will nonetheless show that the App has been granted calendar read and write access: the calendar library the App uses requires both permissions before it will return any data at all, even for reading. The write capability is never exercised.

  • Deleting an imported trip inside the App removes it from the App only; your original calendar entry is untouched.

  • You can revoke calendar permission at any time in your device settings.

Google Account and Cloud Backup

Signing in with Google is optional and powers backup and Google Calendar import.

  • Email address: When you sign in, we receive your Google account email address. It is used to show which account is connected and to authorize access. It is stored on your device.

  • Google Drive backup: If you use the backup feature, the App writes a file containing your events, expenses, and categories to the private application folder of your own Google Drive. This folder is only accessible to this App and to you; we cannot access it, and we receive no copy. The file is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection and is protected by Google’s storage security. We do not apply our own additional encryption to the file’s contents.

  • You can delete the backup from within the App at any time (Section 6).

Subscriptions and Free-Trial Status

Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. We receive only your subscription status and product identifier from the store. To ensure the free trial is offered once per person, the App records your trial and subscription status both on your device and in your device platform’s account-linked storage — Android Blockstore (associated with your Google account) or the iCloud key-value store (associated with your Apple ID). Please note: This trial record is retained even if you uninstall the App, and is restored if you reinstall it. This is deliberate, and exists solely to prevent repeated free trials. It contains only your plan type and trial dates — no trip, location, calendar, or payment data.

You can request removal of this record by emailing us (Section 8).

Exports You Initiate

When you export a report, the App creates an Excel (.xlsx) file and hands it to your device’s share sheet, so you choose where it goes (email, cloud storage, another app). Exported reports contain your trip, mileage, and expense data. Similarly, exporting error logs shares a diagnostic file only where you send it.

4. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following services. Data shared with them is limited to what is described above and is governed by their own privacy policies: Service

5. Sharing of Data

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information or location information to third parties, and we do not share it for advertising. Data is disclosed only:

  • To the service providers listed in Section 4, strictly to deliver the features you use.

  • When you choose to share it, such as exporting a report or sending it to another app.

  • If required by law, or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

6. Deleting Your Data

You are in control of your data and can remove it at any time:

  • In the App: Go to Settings → Delete My Data. This permanently deletes your events, expenses, categories, and cached data from this device, deletes your Google Drive backup if one exists, and signs you out of your Google account.

  • What is intentionally kept: Your subscription and free-trial record is retained for fraud prevention, as described in Section 3. This is a limited exception permitted for preventing abuse of free trials.

  • Uninstalling removes the App’s local data from your device, but does not remove your Google Drive backup (delete it in the App first) or the account-linked trial record.

  • By request: Email us at 2in1triptracker@gmail.com to request deletion of any remaining data, including the trial record. We will respond within 30 days.

  • Subscriptions are cancelled through Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, or App Store →Subscriptions; the App links you there directly from its settings.

7. Your Data Protection Rights

Because your data is stored on your device and in your own cloud storage, you can access, correct, export, and delete it directly within the App at any time. In addition, depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy in a portable format. The App’s export feature provides this; note that we hold no copy of your trip data ourselves.

  • Request correction or deletion of your data (Section 6).

  • Withdraw consent for location or calendar access at any time via your device settings.

  • Object to or restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We do not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for business and personal mileage tracking by adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top.
